Spikey is Blqck Rose it’s main character and symbol Black Roses. As adorable as this little black bear may look, whenever he feels threatened or cared he uses his spikey to protect himself. Like we as humans should inspire to be, looking at the world with a positive loving perspective but heavily protected when needed.

Marrow had a rose shaped head and a boney face. One side of his body is dry bones while the other flourishes. Because we all have both sides, but it’s what we focus on that grows.

Green Guardian is the protector of Black Forest. He has a medieval aesthetic and protects all life inside the forest. As a young kid I have always looked up to superhero characters. I’ve always respected their motive to protect the people they care about, make it their life mission to become a peacemaker and to choose justice in the situations where the chance of survival is low and all odds are against them. But not all hero’s wear capes or have ounces of muscle. Some come in the form of a loving parent or sibling, a boss, a pet or any other type of protector. They put our safety & needs before their own. There isn’t a more beautiful connection out there. We should give these people their roses while they are still around.

These fishes fly through Black Forest, giving light and hope in dark areas.

According to the Chinese new year, this is the year of the rabbit. Predictions are that is a year to build deeper connections and appreciate life, which is exactly what i’m going to do. This is my newest digital artwork, with my new not so fluffy character.. “Rose Tail”.
