Spikey is one of many Black Roses characters. He appears in different art pieces and clothing created by the Blqck Rose as signature creature. As adorable as this little black bear may look, whenever he feels threatened or cared he uses his spikey to protect himself. Like we as humans should inspire to be, looking at the world with a positive loving perspective but heavily protected when needed.

A collaboration with Rabia Omanette. This painting is inspired by black culture. It expresses the beauty and growth of black feminism. In his world Black Beauty isn’t a horse, but a beautiful thriving black woman. This painting is the artists most precious work. It was an emotional journey because in the proces of making this he lost is grandma, one of the people he loved most. The meaning of her name: ‘Beautiful Thriving Rose’.
